“I was born here, and before I
noticed, my Father put this land
on my name. Later, when I was
wondering what that mean, I ask
myself: how can a person be the
owner of this?
Anyway... before I could answer this question, a question that still remains unanswered, I felt
the responsibility to take care of this land in all its dimensions: legal, social and environmental.
If I had a son or daughter who want to take this responsibility I could die in peace, but that’s
not the case and my dream consists in finding the way to protect this land against fragmentation
or exploitation and keep this ecosystem rich in wildlife for the benefit of generations to come.
Am I a colonizer? Maybe... but one who wants to be a colonizer of hearts, in order to help
others to hold some dwell in their hearts for Nature.”
